morning sickness go away!

Today is exciting. If I were a "normal" person, I probably would have waited until today to tell everyone of my 3rd pregnancy. But I get so stressed out and need prayer, so I tend to share things right away!
12 weeks:
plain old Leah
although I have actually gained some weight already!

Dear 2nd Trimester,
In past pregnancies, you've treated me no different than the 1st trimester. I hope and PRAY this time we can get along better. I hope that we can be friends and can spend the next 12 weeks enjoying each other. I promise to eat healthy and take care of myself- can you promise to not make me puke any more? Thanks!
your friend-to-be, Leah

I also received some very unexpected news on Tuesday afternoon. Dr Vandenboom called me personally to let me know the blood tests he had been running came back indicating I probably have a blood condition call alpha thalassemia minor. Fun, huh? Not really. I honestly don't know much about it. I know that my pregnancy will continue on as normal. I know that I have had it since birth. And I know that this is possibly why I had such a hard time after my Csection with Cecilia and why I lost so much blood. This condition also contributes to why I am so worn out, light headed, exhausted and FREEZING cold! I will know more next Wednesday after my appointment with the specialist. At this point there is nothing to worry about. And thanks to God being awesome, I haven't freaked out yet. :-)

I missed a post a few weeks ago, so I will add it in: Beautiful Cecilia is 5 months old!!! She is so cute! She has 2 1/2 teeth. I thought all 3 were in but the one on top is really only half way in. She's still so close to rolling over, laughs uncontrollably at Landen, and sleeps like a perfect little baby! She's been on infant cereal for about a month and this weekend we are going to break out the real baby food! yay! That photo is from her first "daddy date" - Luke taught her how to use the zapper to play call of duty. :-)

swoosh swoosh swoosh

Yesterday, at 11 weeks, we heard that beautiful swoosh sound for baby3! A beautiful, strong heartbeat of 150 bpm. So, with C and Landen they both held true to the old wives tale that high heart beats are girls and low heart beats are boys . . . I kinda hope this one holds true to it too. But we won't really know until 18weeks . . .

My body feels very pregnant. I keep forgetting I am pregnant. But things are going well and the stress is going away a little bit! We are just living each day by faith!
