June has been the busiest month of the year thus far! Cecilia is almost 8 months old! Landen is our sun-kissed, swimming, tball boy, I am 5 months pregnant and Luke got a new job!We ended May and began June with a Child Dedication of Cecilia and Landen. All that really means is we stood before our family and church and asked them to hold us accountable for raising Landen and Cecilia to love God and honor Him with their lives. It's a commitment on our parts (not theirs) to them, each other and our families.
We spent the first June weekend at Lee's Summit's Downtown Days. I never remember going as a child. And with rides costing between $2-3 a piece, I can imagine my parents didn't see it as a necessary expense. For some weird reason, I have this great desire to do these types of events with our kids-even if it is blowing some money - it's so worth it to see how excited Landen got! And we were really blessed by finding tickets on the ground and one lady just gave us some extras too.
We are feeling a ton of movement from our newest child in the 5th month of pregnancy. I have still have some morning sickness, but not as frequent and usually if I don't eat at certain times during the day. Landen is getting used to the idea of having another sister. He's excited now that we have picked a name for sure. He says her name so sweetly. And whenever he counts how many people are in a room, he always counts the baby in my tummy also.

I really like the idea of calling her Talia but we will see when she gets here in October!
Landen is doing really well at tball. He absolutely loves batting, running the bases and playing second base. We're really proud of him! He spends his time outside either in the pool or playing strike zone. (a metal frame with nets indicating where a strike would be) Lucky for Landen we have lots of baseball training equipment from uncle Alex!
Starting July 1st, Luke will be training, taking classes and getting licensed to sell State Farm Insurance! We are really excited about this new opportunity and praying he finds his nitch in this new venture! Thanks to you all for your prayers the past 5months as we have been searching for our new financial path!
