so, it's the new year!

Twenty-Ten is in full swing in the LoChiano home!
We rang in the new year with old friends, new friends and missing our best friends . . .
Emily and Brandon moved to Savannah, Ga!
It's been fun learning to Skype with them and we've actually stayed in touch pretty well! They even mailed bday presents to Luke and Landen and watched them open them over the webcams!
Landen turned 5! wow, time flies! He is getting so big and so smart. His encouraging spirit is growing and so is his love and compassion for others. It's such a blessing to see his spiritual gifts (especially the ones I am not blessed with).

Luke turned 25! I always forget how young he is until it's actually his birthday. He sure doesn't act like the average 25 year old! He's so loving and hard-working. Luke is such a blessing to me, I know I don't tell him enough how much I appreciate all he does. Working full-time to provide for a family of 5, doing laundry, cleaning, cooking or whatever else I don't get done! I should never complain and I feel bad that I do considering all he does for us. {ily, luke}

Cecilia is 15 months! She's walking so well now! She climbs and jumps and runs. It's so cute (and helping me lose more weight!) She's learning to talk, too! She calls for dad, mom, bubba, tal and pa! She is working on please and thank you. And confidently yells, "BALL!" holding it up in the air for all to see. She's such a sweetie pie and a cuddly girl.
Talia (that's the nickname we're going with) is 3 months old! I can not believe how fast it's going by. She smiles all the time. It's the best. and worth all the sleepless nights and crying that I can't figure out. And FINALLY, one of my babies is going to have my eyes!!! Ohh I love my big brown-eyed kids, but Talia's eyes are so pretty! Greenish grey with dark blue trim. sooo pretty with her dark hair, too! She's a good baby, sleeping from 10pm to 7am most nights now! She is still having quite a time with the reflux which is no fun for any of us. She's still nursing pretty well. We are giving her one formula bottle a day, but sometimes we go a couple days without one too. By far my best nursing experiance (thrush, mastitus and APNO . . . Oh, My!)
We've seen great blessings this year financially, too! Luke is making more money than we have made in our marriage (we also have more mouths to feed so this is really good news!) I am bringing in more money doing childcare than I made at the salon!
We started FPU in January 2008; Today, we have stopped adding to our debt, paid off 4 credit cards and have learned to use our money more wisely. We're not debt free yet, but we are making better choices!
The best blessing of all is one year after being totally dumped on by life (see more) we are able to live within our means again, have health insurance for everyone in our home and feeling like we're finally back to normal!
here's to 2010 . . . may we see our blessings despite what circumstances come our way

Happy 25th Luke!

We had a really fun night playing pool and hanging out with friends and family . . . thanks for being there!
